Attention all singers, musicians

Rural Root Theatre recently finished another successful run with the presentation of their fall play The White Sheep in the Family

“It is very rewarding to have people come out to see our shows and we appreciate the patronage,’ said Helen Weeden, speaking on behalf of the group.  She added that “(it) seems our audiences really enjoy the musicals, so once again we will present another one in the Spring of 2011.”

Ivo Mokros, as director, and Matt Dufresne, as musical director, will be the team heading up the production of All for Your Delight.

The play, staged cabaret style and accompanied by a live orchestra, is set in an old-fashioned music hall.  There will be comedy, melodrama and just plain old fashioned fun.

Several roles are available for both men and women, all ages: late teens upwards.  If you would be interested in joining the group as a crew member please feel free to attend the auditions as well.

Check out the Rural Root Theatre’s website at www.ruralroot.org for a very detailed explanation of the play and roles to be filled.

Auditions will take place Nov 17 and 21st at the Constance Bay Community Centre at 7p.m.
